Commandes

We deliver within Metropolitan France (excluding overseas departments and territories), throughout the European Union, and the United States
You have two options:

- Create an account, thus saving your personal information for future orders and enabling you to retrieve all information associated with your orders in your account.

- Place an order without creating an account.

You can, however, create an account later using the email address entered in your order. You will receive an email instructing you to activate your account, and will then able to retrieve all your information (order tracking, invoices, any returns etc...)
Before confirming your order, you will have the option of entering a personalised message that will be printed out and included with your order. The message will be written in a card, which will in turn be placed inside a Maison Boinet envelope.
Each belt is carefully packaged in a white cloth pouch, which is then placed inside a blue gift box made from recyclable cardboard – stylish and eco-friendly in one.
This case is then placed inside an anonymous protective box for shipping.

Manufacturing Time
Most of our belts are made to order to avoid waste. We ensure manufacturing within 8 working days from order confirmation. We commit to handing the package over to our carrier at the end of these 8 days. The carrier will then deliver the order within the maximum timeframe indicated below.
Some of our belts are in stock; we commit to handing these over to the carrier within 2 working days.

Delivery Times
The indicated delivery time is provided by UPS for informational purposes and corresponds to the timeframe excluding major events.
If one of your items is damaged or if the items delivered do not match your order, please contact our Customer Service department at eboutique@maisonboinet.fr or get in touch using our contact form.

- Log in to your Maison Boinet customer area
- In the “My Orders” section, click on “Return Request”.
- Select the item(s) you wish to return and indicate you want a refund.

To make your return as easy as possible, we will issue a prepaid shipping label for you to use. A $40 handling and return fee will be deducted from your total refund. You have 15 days from the date of delivery to return your order for a full refund.

Please note that exchanges are not available for orders shipped to the United States. If you require a different size or model, please return your original item for a refund and place a new order.

When returning the item, please place the item(s) in their original packaging, along with all accessories and documents provided, as well as the delivery note. We recommend that you take all necessary precautions to ensure its protection. Any item that is not returned, returned incomplete, damaged, deteriorated, soiled, or in any other condition that would reasonably suggest that it has been used or worn will not be eligible for a refund.

All personalized items cannot be exchanged.

To minimize our environmental footprint, please carefully select your belt using our size guide. As our belts are custom-made, returns are limited.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you have 15 days from the date you receive your order to request a return through your Maison Boinet account online. Products must not have been worn or personalized with an engraving.

US

FRANCE and EUROPEAN UNION
Returns are free for all exchange or store credit requests. For refund requests, a return fee of €10 will be deducted from the refunded amount. We process refunds within a maximum of 10 days after receiving your return, directly to the original payment method used for the order. For exchanges, the reshipment costs are those applied on the website.

Box bull-hide leather is a very high-quality leather renowned for its smooth, shiny, hard-wearing look. It is often used to make leather goods.

Smooth, shiny look: The leather's surface is smooth with slight graining, giving it a lustrous, stylish look.
Firmness: It is firmer and more rigid than other types of leather, giving it excellent stability.
Robustness: It is very resistant to wear and tear and scratches, making it a very durable leather.
Finish: It is often finished with a wax or resin coating to accentuate its lustre and further protect it.

How is it made?
Box bull-hide leather is made using the top layer of the bull's hide. It is chrome-tanned, then pressed and polished to achieve its smooth, shiny surface.

Why choose box bull-hide leather?
Its smooth, shiny look gives it a stylish, luxurious vibe. Its resistance to wear and tear makes it an ideal choice for items intended for daily use. And its firmness enables it to retain its shape over time.
Split calfskin leather is a material obtained from the lower layer of the cowhide, unlike full-grain leather, which comes from the top layer.
Thickness: Generally thinner than full-grain leather.
Strength: Less robust than full-grain leather, it is more supple and malleable.
Appearance: The surface may be smooth, grainy or velvety, depending on the finish.
Nubuck calfskin leather is calfskin leather whose surface has been slightly sanded to achieve a velvety look that is soft to the touch, similar to suede. This particular finish gives it a unique charm and makes it exceptionally stylish
Velvety look: The surface of nubuck leather is slightly furry, giving it a soft, silky appearance.
Pleasant feel: Nubuck leather has a very pleasant, soft, warm feel.
Robustness: Despite its softness, nubuck leather is robust and hard-wearing.
Maintenance: Nubuck leather requires specific maintenance in order to preserve its velvety look.

How is it made?
After tanning, the leather's surface is sanded to remove the top layer and expose the leather's fibres. This process creates nubuck's trademark velvety look.

How is it made?
Nappa leather is made using the top layer of a cow's hide. This is the thinner, more even section. It is chrome-tanned, giving it its suppleness and robustness. The surface is then carefully treated to achieve a smooth, uniform look.

Services
We offer a 2-year warranty on all our items. Leather is a premium, living material that grows more beautiful over time. While our warranty covers any manufacturing defects in your belt, it is no substitute for appropriate maintenance. It does not cover signs of wear-and-tear associated with age and intense usage. The action required will depend on the type of stain and your belt's material. Have a read through all our care tips

Here are a few general tips:

  • Act quickly: The faster you treat the stain, the easier it will be to remove.
  • Test the cleaning product: Before applying a product across the entire surface, test it on a small, less visible section.
  • Follow the instructions: Always follow the cleaning products' instructions for use.

For common stains:

  • Greasy stains: Use terre de Sommières (Montmorillonite clay powder) or talcum powder. Sprinkle the powder over the stain, leave for several hours, then brush off.
  • Water-based stains: Dry the belt with a soft, absorbent cloth.
  • Coloured stains: For coloured stains, use a cleaning product designed specifically for use on leather
Avoid harsh products: Alcohol, acetone and solvents can damage leather.
Your leather belt is an investment. To ensure it stays with you for many years, it is important to give it the care it deserves. Regular maintenance will enable the leather to preserve its natural beauty and prevent it from drying out or fading.
ALTERNATING
This is not an action you need to perform but rather a case of paying essential attention to ensure your belt lasts a long time and ages well: never wear it two days in a row!

Create a unique belt! We give you the option of personalising your items (belts and bracelets) for free with a date or initials. These are heat-branded on the inside tip, using gold film.

N.B.: Given the unique nature of each customisation, personalised products cannot be exchanged or returned.
A correctly adjusted belt will generally fasten at the third hole. There are several ways for you to determine your size:

Based on your pant size (FR): Our size-match tables will show you your equivalent belt size.
By measuring: Belt size is measured from the start of the buckle to the belt's middle hole. Measuring your waistline with a measuring tape will give you an accurate measurement. Then check our size-match tables
Based on where it's being worn: Your belt size depends on where you wear it. If you wear it at your hips, allow approximately an extra 10 cm more than if you're wearing it at your waist.
